Hi Everyone!
A few people have emailed me to ask about updates--I apologize for the delay. After moving, I couldn't find the camera. Just after I did, my hard drive died on the laptop, so I haven't been able to upload pix. I'm still waiting to get it back. I will be sure to post new pix as soon as I get it back!!!
As far as the pregnancy goes, we are doing well! Madeline continues to grow, and so does my tummy! She is an active little bugger!!! She keeps me up at night, but its good to know she's strong and healthy. We are so excited for her arrival--its crazy to think there are only 8 weeks left (assuming she comes "on time"). I guess we'll have to see what her timeline is for getting here. School is keeping me busy, so time is flying by--Yes, I am insanely trying to fit one last semester in before she arrives. We'll see if I make it all the way through, though. Her due date and the end of the semester are the same week. EEK! Either way, things will work out.
Lance is now officially a second year medical student! He is working as a Teaching Assistant (TA) for the new class in their anatomy class and associated dissection lab. He is enjoying it very much. We've had a chance to meet some of the new first years--this new class has about 10 married couples in it, so it will be nice to have some others to connect with--especially since about half are like us--the guy in med school and the wife not.
While we were anxious about having a baby during this time, God has blessed us with so many new friends in our church and from the med school as well (and some in both places!). We feel very loved and supported by the people we've met here in Tallahassee. We miss those from Jax, Gainesville, Orlando, and elsewhere just the same, though!!!
