Maddy plays peek a boo!

I was sitting watching TV while Maddy was playing and noticed she had crawled over by the TV. All of a sudden I realized she was playing a game that Lance and I often play with her. I needed to go grab the camera...she started to do this without any prompting from me. I only did it once I got the camera to try and get her to continue...and she did!

Discovering new food

Chewing on a wet washcloth seems to alleviate the discomfort of teething. Can't see anything yet, but gums are swollen and she's waking up 3 times a night...ugh!

Maddy, Chester, and the Stairs

Maddy has moved beyond just crawling to grab a toy. This week she started following me from room to room! She is already trying to pull up on people and things as well. Chester was sitting half way up the stairs, so she decided to crawl over and check it out. She pulled herself right up and started trying to figure them out--time for the baby gates, stat! Thought we'd have a little more time on that, but evidently we don't! :)

We still had the cooler sitting out from our trip with the family last weekend--Maddy enjoyed making noises on it rubbing her hands on the grooved sides...which attracted Chester as well. Don't freak out-Chester has no front claws. This is the first time he's ever tried to touch her. Too funny!

Family Fun

We have had a fun weekend so far with Uncle John and Grandma Rapacz here. Once the rain finally stopped, we were able to go to The Rez here at FSU and have a fun picnic. John, Mike, Rachel, and a friend went sailing. Mommy and daddy tried out a canoe (no pictures here, though :o)-have to get them from someone else's camera). We had a fun time. It was also a mini celebration for birthdays (Mike-4/7, Lance 4/14, and John 5/6) since all were here.
