Hi Everyone,
Boy has the last week and a half flown by! We are pooped, but doing well. My mom was here last week and Lance's mom has been here this week helping us transition to life with a newborn.
I don't have a whole lot of time, so I'm just going to post some pictures for now. Enjoy!

Madeline Reilly is here!

Madeline Reilly--1 hour

Hi everyone,

We are so excited to announce that Madeline Reilly finally made her appearance. I actually started contracting the night of the last post, but wasn't admitted to the hospital until Monday night/Tuesday (12:30 AM) when my water broke (we went Mon afternoon, but were sent back home). Madeline came Tuesday morning (8/5/08) at 9:54 AM after about 20 minutes of pushing (Praise God for that!). She was 8 lbs 8 oz and 20 1/4 in long. APGARs were all 9s! She is doing well--just a bit of jaundice that we've seen the pediatrician for, but overall, she's a healthy little peanut! :O) We came home Thursday AM, so its just been a couple nights back home now. Thanks to the help of our family, we're off to a good start!

Time to post has been impossible, as has time to return the many messages, phone calls, and emails we've received (It's currently 3 am--just finished a feeding). Thank you so much for all of the prayers and support--we are very appreciative of all the family and friends who are here for us. Above all, we are so blessed by God's faithfulness to us in our journey to becoming a family. We are amazed at the love we now know and can only imagine how great His love for us must be. We are so thankful for this little life that He has entrusted to us.

Lance's parents have some of the best early pics, so I'll try and get those posted once I get them uploaded to our computer. Here's a great one we got thanks to a kind nurse :) I'll try and post again soon and fill in any gaps. We look forward to introducing you all to Madeline (aka Maddy) as soon as we can!

Much Love,

Lance and Rosemary

Still waiting...

So, still no news...other than me being huge. I hope she comes soon mostly so that Lance will have some time home with us before he starts his fall semester next Monday (8/11). All is well, and as I mentioned last post, we're back to the doctor on Wednesday if nothing happens before then. We did TONS of walking this weekend, but it doesn't seem like it's done much. We'll see if anything happens tonight (here's hoping!).

40 weeks, 1 day....and counting...
If anyone has any suggestions on ways to get this show on the road, let me know!!! :o)
Love,
Rosemary
