uh oh!

I went to put Maddy down for bed at her usual time--between 7:30 and 8. About 10 minutes after putting her down, she began to cry. It was a much stronger cry than one which might just be as a result of losing the pacifier, so I go to check things out. I only turn the hall light on so I don't wake her up when I come into her room. As I walk in, I am confused because I see a little head popping up. She rolled herself from her back onto her stomach and apparently couldn't get back over!!! Had to snap some pictures!

She rolled all the way over the the side/corner of the crib.

I decided to give her a minute to try and figure it out for herself. Even though you can't quite see her face, I think you can probably tell she's crying--not a happy camper. She managed to get a good drool spot going there. :o( Poor baby.

A relieved baby after mommy helped roll her back over. --She sorta rolled back over to her side, though...I'll have to be on rolling baby alert for the rest of the night.

Look what I can do!

Maddy has been rolling over this week! She's rolled from her tummy to her back a handful of times and from her back to her tummy once. After the first couple, she seems to have the hang of it and is doing it with greater ease. We were able to catch a roll on the camera today and just had to share! More pics to come soon! :)
