A Wondrous Weekend

This past weekend we had the rare treat of being parents to ONE kiddo for a bit.  Lance’s parents took the big kids Friday afternoon and brought them back on Sunday.  I think everyone had a great couple of days.  I also think two special grandparents had an especially exhausting couple of days…but WE SO APPRECIATE IT!!!

Lance and I were able to go out Friday night thanks to a friend taking Aaron duty for us (Thanks, Karen!!!). We actually got to see a movie!  Saturday was a lazy morning as Lance had off from work.  In the afternoon, I took off to bum around at the store and Lance and Aaron got some boy time. Sunday I was able to waltz into church with one kiddo in arm…so funny how easy things seemed…lol. 

Maddy and Tommy spent a lot of time outside with grandma and grandpa.  They played at the park and went swimming 3 times!  Evidently, they’ve turned into little fish!  Grandma was good enough to snap a few pics for us!
