Hello Again! Well, yesterday (1/14) was our very first visit to the doctor! We were able to see the baby--it was amazing!!! The doctor had a tough time getting a clear shot because the baby just kept moving around. It was just so neat to see the arms waving, legs kicking, and, most importantly, heart beating! --And he/she just kept bouncing! The doctor said that everything looks good so far. Our official due date is August 2, so we'll see! We'll be back in 4 weeks for our next visit--and our next pictures!
I am feeling a bit better. The morning sickness is mostly gone, but I'm still pretty tired. School is definitely a challenge--my days are full and long--not a good combination for a pooped out person, but that's okay.
My pants are starting to get a tad snug, and there are times (usually after I eat) when I just have to unbutton and pull my shirt down, but we're still a ways from maternity clothes. I do look forward to it, though!!!

ReplyDeleteHooray for Baby Tegen! I didn't have my first ultrasound till about 16 weeks, so it was a lot of baby to see all at once! It is amazing, isn't it? Now when I feel her kicking and rolling around in there, I feel like I know her. People kept telling me to "just wait till she starts kicking!" and indeed, it's an incredible feeling! Have you heard of the "Bella Band" by "Ingrid & Isabella"? It's wonderful! I wish I had had it earlier in my pregnancy. It's a very comfy and stretchy elastic band/panel that you can wear over your pre-maternity clothes so you can unzip or unbutton and look decent. :)

Oh Rosemary and Lance!!!! I'm so excited for you both! I'm now a Nani two times over. It's just as magical as it was when each of my three were born. Congratulations to two of the best parents any baby could have!!!
