We decided to take a day to run out and take Maddy to the beach. We ended up just an hour south of town at Mashes Sands Beach in Panacea, FL. We were kinda on more of a bay-type beach versus right on the gulf, so the water was a bit brackish. However, it was very shallow a good ways out and light on waves, which made it pretty good for Maddy. She had such a fun time walking around, playing in the sand, and waving at birds and dogs!

The finished product! :)Afterwards, we went to the ONLY, and I do mean ONLY restaurant in the area and had lunch. It was alright, but not the most baby-friendly place. Luckily, we had plenty of snacks for Maddy. She fought sleep most of the way home, but fell asleep about 15 mins (of just over an hour car ride) before we pulled in. Figures! She had a good snooze at home, though. A fun day was had by all!
